Founder Christophe Moyersoen has witnessed the auction world evolve significantly over the years. As an experienced auctioneer, he has helped shape Auctim’s successful strategy since 1980. In 2005, he launched an online auction software platform designed for fully automated processing.

In 1980, founder Christophe Moyersoen went to work for one of the two well-known Belgian auction houses, learning the trade. Five years later, he started on his own. Soon NV Moyersoen became the Belgian market leader in B2B auctions.

To realize the rapid international expansion, a partner model is set up that takes maximum advantage of local expertise. In January 2020, the Moyersoen website will be renamed Auctim.com. The Cloud SaaS auction software will be adapted so that each Auctim Partner can handle its files independently, and post all online auctions and sales on the Auctim website itself. This gives both large and small auction houses the opportunity to showcase their products worldwide. Today, the software has become one of the best auction site platforms in the world.
Some 50 employees make Auctim's story come true, day after day. Annual exponential growth is therefore a reality. By 2020 Auctim has grown to 5 partners in Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Czech Republic, North Macedonia.
